Educational Commission Sales Agent - Nelson Cengage

Lucrative commission position in city territory! Great opportunity for a Commission Representative to grow an already established business.

Nelson Cengage, one of Australia’s leading educational publishers, is seeking to appoint a self-driven commission-based sales representative. The successful applicant will be selling our Primary list, including the best-selling PM range, to schools in a designated territory in Northeast Melbourne and surrounding country areas. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is based in Epping, Eltham, Hurstbridge, Coburg, or Whittlesea.

To be successful you will be:
• a highly motivated self-starter
• possess excellent communication and organisational skills
• able to work independently
• possess excellent sales and relationship building skills
• strong IT skills
• confident in presenting to groups and individuals using a variety of technologies

Applicants will need to have the desire to deliver superior service to customers, build on existing and create new sales opportunities.

An excellent commission package is offered. Providing your own car and holding a current driver’s licence is essential. Lifting and carrying our product is required as is country travel. This role requires a Working with Children check and proof of Covid vaccination.

Learning Consultant, QLD – Higher Education Based in Brisbane – possible Sydney or Melbourne

What we're looking for
The successful applicant will promote our range of educational solutions into a diverse and exciting mix of Higher Education accounts. You will be liaising with key academic personnel on campus including any campus bookshops on a regular basis. Reporting to the Head of Sales (ANZ) this position is based in Brisbane however some country travel will be required.

Ideally, we are looking for a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, demonstrating friendly, transparent, and proactive communication. Applicants must be self-motivated and have extraordinary problem-solving skills; questioning the status quo and taking calculated risks to meet customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:
• Identify all new and untapped markets within a designated territory
• Meet with key decision makers and present our products
• Maintain and grow existing customers
• Develop leads and marketing strategies through extensive research and cold calling
• Achieve set sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain a CRM system

The successful applicant will have proven selling skills and demonstrate the ability to source new business through superior service.
